The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations says that about one-third of all the food made worldwide is wasted. A study by Quantis International found that the textile industry is responsible for 6.7% of the world’s greenhouse gas emissions. However, the textile industry is finding a way to help reduce food waste.
